The hydroforming process due to the hydro-dynamic fluid action (additivated water) injected at a high pressure within the die (up to 4.500 bar/65.000 psi), determines the sheet metal’s deformation inside the die by pushing the liquid, so doing obtaining the shape desired. This process starting from a sheet metal allows to achieve complex shapes. The hydroforming process offers high advantages also for the tubes’ deformation, in terms of reduction of time and lower costs. Moreover, it reduces the operations’ fulfilment by cutting and drilling during the hydroforming phase. The hydroforming components may be realized with different types of stainless steels, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, magnesium and so on.
